The Bomag 600-850mm Remote Control Compact Trench Roller
With its operating weight of over 1.5 t, the BMP 8500 multi-purpose compactor achieves outstanding compaction results in trench, sewer and pipeline construction. This trench roller is the perfect choice when things get particularly challenging, confined or dangerous.
BOMAG’s compact padfoot roller with articulated steering is equipped with an all-round protection hood made of highly impact-resistant composite material and hydrostatic articulated steering. The articulated joint has no lubrication nipple, making the trench roller particularly low-maintenance. It also features ECOMODE, which keeps the engine in the optimum speed range at all times, saving fuel and ensuring low operating costs.
It has an impressive range of applications. The trench compactor excels even under the most difficult conditions with its outstanding compaction power. Equipped with a padfoot drum, the multi-purpose compactor can fully utilise its strengths on heavy, moist and clayey soils, precisely where conventional soil compactors and vibratory rollers reach their limits.
Thanks to its compact design, the machine is ideal for compaction work in confined site situations. The trench compactor can also be used remotely for shoring so the operator doesn’t have to stand in the exhaust fumes.
