Health & Safety
As a leading supplier to the construction industry, we take health and safety, and our impact on the environment, very seriously.
All aspects of our operations are driven by these priorities. Our Health and Safety policy sets out to illustrate a clear understanding of our obligations, to ensure we deliver a proactive approach to all areas of Health and Safety within our business.
The effective implementation of this policy requires a positive approach to risk management by all employees, and will be encouraged through provision of the necessary information training and supervision to ensure employees are competent to carry out duties allocated.
To maintain a high standard of maintenance to our fleet we carry out various inspections including driver’s daily inspection / defect sheets, off hire inspection sheets, 12 monthly lolar inspections and 6 monthly quick hitch inspections.
The main nature of our company is plant hire, therefore plant and equipment is the main focus of our health and safety. This means that to improve our health and safety we have to have a fleet of modern, efficient and up to date machinery.
Our company takes health and safety a top priority our machines are purchased with advanced factory fitted technology such as hose burst checks on both the boom and dipper rams, hill Tefra fully automatic double locking quick hitch; this hitch is two years ahead of its time, making it the safety coupler available on the market also purchasing excavators that’s help improve site safety like zero tail swing excavators, to help reduce crush risk.
